Backup Data to Google with Google Nexus S

Step 1. On your Google Nexus S home screen, touch Menu then select Settings.

Step 2. Scroll down and then touch Privacy.

Step 3. Make sure there is a green check besides the Back up my data, this ensures your personal date backed to your Google account on Google service,

Also make sure there is a green check besides the Automatic restore, so the data or settings you have previously placed on the certain third party applications will be restored in that app.
