  1. On the home screen, tap on Menu > Settings > Privacy > Factory data reset
  2. Type the password, you need to confirm by pressing Yes

  1. Turn off the power. Or pull out the battery and reinsert it.
  2. Hold the Volume Down button
  3. Press and release the Power button
  4. A menu displays with Facebook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
  5. Press the Volume Down button to select Clear Storage
  6. If you want to confirm, type Volume Up for YES. If not, type Volume Down for NO

 

One thing to remember, the procedure of reset will delete all data on you Epic 4G device. your phone will go back to its original status, so please backup important data before you reset your phone.
