For the Samsung Epic 4G, users can set Quick Search preferences to include browser names; installed apps; contacts; YouTube; voicemail; or artists, albums, and tracks within the music player.

It needs a few steps

1. Touch the Applications tab and press Settings > Search > Searchable Items.

2.  Touch the box next to any item to be included so that a green checkmark appears.

3. Touch any checked box to uncheck.
