The Samsung Epic 4G allows consumers to set up POP3 and IMAP email accounts on the device. Let’s talk about how to do that.

1. Tap on the Home icon
2. Tap on the Grid icon to view the installed applications
3. Touch the Email icon
4. Enter the Email Address and Password, then tap Next
5. Select POP3 or IMAP from the options: POP3, IMAP, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync
6. Enter the incoming server settings including Username, Password, POP3 server, Port, Security type, and Delete email from server, then touch Done > Next
7. Enter the Outgoing server settings: SMTP server, Port, Security type, Require sign-in, Username, and Password, then touch Done > Next
8. Select Account options from the following and tap Next

• Email checking frequency (15 minutes by default),
• Send email from this account by default (check box)
• Notify me when email arrives (checkbox)

Now you have set up POP3/IMAP email account on your Samsung Epic 4G. don’t forget to enter your name.
