I have been asked for quite a few times that how to synchronize music from an iTunes library with the Samsung Epic 4G. Today I make a summary to answer this question here.
First you need to install iTunes Agent, with which you can use your Epic 4G with iTunes on a Windows-based computer.
When you have downloaded and installed iTunes Agent, let’s go to the points about setting up your computer to sync your Samsung Epic 4G with music from iTunes.
- Insert your Epic 4G into the computer USB port, touch USB Connected > Mount
- On your Epic 4G device, create a folder called Music
- In the System tray, right-click on the iTunes Agent icon
- Press Preferences
- Leave all defaults checked then touch the New button
- Name the device Epic 4G
- Leave Synchronize pattern: set to iTunes
- Tap on Choose and select the Music folder on your device
- Tap on Create and select the Music folder on your device
10. Press Save > Close
Next we come to the steps on how to add music to the Samsung Epic 4G
First, launch iTunes and you will see a playlist folder called My Devices, under which you will see the your Epic 4G device
Then, drag the music files you want to synchronize from your iTunes library to your device into this playlist
Finally, right-click on the iTunes Agent icon in the system tray and select Synchronize devices
By now, the whole procedure is finished!
