Ref: use Samsung Acclaim Home screen, take advantage of Home screen on Samsung Acclaim

The Samsung Acclaim has a scrolling Home screen with three areas for organization, which can be navigated by the simple swipe of a finger. To add a widget, shortcut, or folder to the Home screen. Let’s talk about them!

1. Place a finger on the display and give it a long press.
2. The Add to Home Screen menu will appear.
3. Choose between Shortcuts, Widgets, Folders, and Wallpapers. For this example, we will choose Shortcuts.
4. The Select Shortcut menu will appear.
5. Scroll through the list and select a shortcut. For example, select the Alarm Clock. Touch Applications and then Alarm Clock.
6. The Alarm Clock icon will appear on the Home Screen as a shortcut.

Follow the same process to add widgets or folders to the Home screen. To rearrange widgets and shortcuts, touch the icon to be moved and give it a long press. Drag the icon to the desired place on the screen.
