One Samsung Epic 4G onwers asked if he can install or move installed apps to SD card,, running the apps from SD card.

The Android OS itself does not support this feature until Android 2.2 Froyo.
I have the galaxy tab with Android 2.2 OS. I installed the Angry birds. I can choose to move this APps to SD card by follow steps.:
Application–> Settings—>application–>manage application–>Click Angry birds —you will see a option move to SD card, or you can choose to move internal memory later.

For those device is not updated with Android 2.2 OS, you need to wait the update or flash new 2.2 ROM yourself, that is not good idea,,:-) , you may “brick” your device by wrong operation.

For those Androir 2.2 OS based device, you can choose Install Applications to the SD Card by Default:
by Android SDK commands: ADB
> adb shell pm setInstallLocation 2
This command will push ALL apps to your sd card, to revert back to saving apps to internal
memory enter in:
> adb shell pm setInstallLocation 0
> adb shell pm setInstallLocation 0
