Bell is going to put a new smartphone on the stage, the Samsung Wave S8500. The Wave is the first smartphone to be DivX certified for high-definition video playback at 720p resolution all over the world. it is also the first smartphone that runs Samsung’s own Bada operating system.

The Samsung Wave features a Super AMOLED 3.3-inch highly saturated, high-resolution display, a built-in 5.0-megapixel camera with 720p video capture, 1 GHz processor, b­­­­­bluetooth 3.0, HSDPA, Wi-Fi and TouchWiz 3.0.

It is said the Samsung Wave will be launched on July 8^th, the price has not been finalized yet, the approximately retailed is supposed to be $299.95.
